The exhibition project shows the life and work of artist Lasar Segall, with main focus on his painting “Navio de Emigrantes”. For the elaboration of this emblematic work that reveals his history as an emigrant, Segall relied on his own experience as a traveler. The exhibition reveals that travel universe with his preparatory drawings, photos, sketches and engravings, which gave substance to all the work involved in creating this work.
